Hey, Freshmen! Congratulations and welcome to the University of Rochester.
Looking for ways to partake in leadership activities on campus? Then you should check out GET INVOLVED NIGHT during Orientation Week. At the Get Involved Night event, you’ll learn about elected and non-elected leadership roles including SA Senate, Class Council, and Hall Council.
GET INVOLVED NIGHT takes place on Sunday, August 29 at 5:00 p.m. in the May Room of Wilson Commons. Later there will be an Elections Interest Meeting at 7:00 p.m. also in the May Room. Anyone interested in potentially running for an elected position (SA Senate, Class Council, or Hall Council) must attend one Elections Interest Meeting. If you can’t make it to the meeting on Sunday, check out on of the other meetings:
Wednesday, September 1 at 9:00 p.m. in the Tiernan Community Room
Thursday, September 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Friel Lounge (Susan B. Anthony Hall)
Thursday, September 2 at 8:30 p.m. in the Gilbert Community Room
If you have any questions about ways to get involved with leadership activities or about elections, feel free to contact Elections Chair Dan Cohn via email at daniel.cohn@rochester.edu.
Congratulations again! We can’t wait to see you all at Get Involved Night!
