Charged with the task of bettering student life, the Senators work to pass legislation and oversee the operation of student organizations. The Senate aims to advocate for all students. The Senate consists of five standing Committees: Academic Affairs, Appropriations, Campus Life, International Student Affairs, and Organization Administration and Review. This Spring, there are spots open for the Class of 2023, the Class of 2024, and the Class of 2025. For all classes, there will be a minimum of three Senate spots open. In addition, there will be many at-large Senate seats, which are determined by who received the most votes, regardless of class year.
Class Councils are programming groups that promote class unity and school spirit by planning events and creating traditions. For the Spring 2022 elections, there are eight (8) Class Council positions open for the Class of 2023, the Class of 2024, and the Class of 2025.
