Senate

The Senate is charged with the task of improving student life on campus. As representatives of the student body, senators work to pass legislation advocating for student needs while overseeing the operation of student organizations. Currently, the Senate consists of six standing Committees: Academic Affairs (AAC), Administration and Review Committee (ARC), Campus Life, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), International Student Affairs (ISAC), and Students’ Association Appropriations Committee (SAAC). We are specifically looking to fill DEI, ARC, and ISAC. This Winter, there are three (3) at-large Senate seats that are open for the Class of ‘25, ‘26, or ‘27. Senators meet every Monday at 8:00 pm in the Gowen Room, so make sure that you are available at that time!
