Election Information Meetings
There will be one optional informational session! It will be held online on January 20 at 3:00 p.m. You can access the Zoom meeting here. At the meeting, you will have the opportunity to talk to many members of SA Government and learn about the election process and rules at this event. If you are not able to attend, please see the elections information slideshow instead, as this information will be needed in order to pass the elections quiz. We will also be tabling in Hirst Lounge on January 21 from 3-7 p.m. as well as at the Winter Activities Fair on January 24 from 2-3:30 p.m.
Registration of Candidacy
To formally register as a candidate, complete the Election Candidacy Submission before January 25th at 12 p.m. (noon) EST. In order to do so, you must first take the Election Rules Quiz, which you can retake as many times as necessary. After you complete the Election Rules Quiz, you will receive a confirmation email containing your results and a link to the Election Candidacy Submission form. If you did not pass the test, you must retake it until you pass before submitting the Election Candidacy Submission form. Once you pass the test, fill out the Election Candidacy Submission form.

The campaign period begins on Sunday, January 26 at 12:00 pm EST and ends on Friday, January 31 at 10 pm EST. Make sure you do not campaign outside of this time period. Also, please make sure that all of your campaign materials are taken down no later than 48 hours after the voting period has ended.
Voting
Voting will take place through a link on this website and on CCC. Elections utilize affirmative voting, so students may vote for as many candidates as they like. Voting will begin on Thursday, January 30 at 10:00 am EST and will end on Friday, January 31 at 10:00 pm EST. Expect unofficial results of voting by noon on Saturday, February 1st.
