Friday, April 12th from 7-9pm in the River Level Room in the Interfaith Chapel
Students can come enjoy food from Tandoor of India and learn about fasting in Islam. We will be having an info session for the event on April 9th at 6PM in Gowen Room so those interested in fasting the day of the event can learn more about how fasting works in Islam. Tickets will cost $5/students and faculty, $7/public. All ticket proceeds will be donated to a charity to benefit refugees.
Health Professions Panel
BMES, in collaboration with the BME Department, is hoping to organize a BME Health Professions Panel of BME Alumni who are in the Rochester area practicing as MDs, MD residents, Nurses. We are trying to gauge interest and figure out potential dates/times for the session. Please fill out this form if you are interested and can make one or more of these times.

Color a Cure
Advertising Support for Cancer Awareness Club
The Cancer Awareness Club (previously known as Colleges Against Cancer) is hosting Color A Cure. Last year, due to campus feedback we changed the mission of our club and partnered with Wilmot Cancer Institute right here at the University of Rochester in hopes of better the lives of cancer patients and investing in cancer research right here at home.
No longer a part of the American Cancer Society, we have had some freedom to rebrand our biggest event of the year and last spring created Color A Cure. This year we are hosting Color A Cure once more. We hope you can come join us on April 7th, 3pm to 5pm in the May Room for a fun-filled afternoon of activities, raffles, food, and guest performances.
