Gear Rental:

For Members:

Free rental of 1 of each item
$20 deposit for large rentals. At discretion of equipment manager but usually consists of trips going out longer than 1 day.

For Non-Members:

Reservations given to the equipment manager by non-members are treated the same as those given by members as long as they are 7 days in advance of the day the equipment is being checked out.
There is a $5 cost for each large item being taken out. For example: Tent, kayak, sleeping pad and bag, stove, etc.
There will be no cost for small auxiliary items such as stuff sacs. The deposit rule will also apply in the same manner for non-members.

General:

Gear cannot be guaranteed unless the equipment manager is given notice in advance. There are limited quantities of items. It is the responsibility of the equipment manager and those renting gear to leave their name, phone number, and email in the log book along with an itemized list of everything taken and the date it was taken out. This especially applies to situations when gear is taken out NOT in the presence of the equipment manager.
The deposit may not be returned at the discretion of the equipment manager in the case of gear not returned or returned in damaged condition. If the situation dictates, such as that of gross negligence of gear, additional fees may be levied and equipment rental privileges may be revoked!
