UR AIChE organizes plant tours of nearby industrial and research facilities that employ chemical engineers. These are fantastic opportunities for students to see first-hand the type of work and environment that chemical engineers are exposed to. In the past, we have visited industrial gas manufacturers, chemical production plants, analytical chemistry labs, and toner production facilities. If you have any questions or know of a facility that may be interested in offering a tour, contact UR AIChE’s Business Manager. These events usually have an attendance cap and receive strong interest from students, so be on the lookout for our upcoming visits on our Facebook page!
