Head Coach - Lindsay Putnam

Coach Putnam has been behind the bench for 28 years, 12 of those at the Junior A level, having coached in the Eastern Junior League, the United States Premier Hockey League and the Empire League. He comes to the University of Rochester having won Championships as a player and coach, including championships at the youth Tier 1 AAA Tournament Bound level.\n\nCoach Putnam was also one of 7 local coaches selected by USA Hockey to coach at their annual Select Festivals held in Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Assistant Coach - Andrew Murphy

Originally from Lake Placid, NY, Coach Murphy brings over 20 years of experience between the pipes as a goaltender. He holds records at both the high school and collegiate levels and competed at Mohawk Valley Community College while earning his associate degree, followed by Daniel Webster College where he completed his bachelor\u2019s degree.\nCoach Murphy is a graduate of the Simon Business School and currently works full-time at M&T Bank as a Vice President of Commercial Lending Operations. His background in leadership, strategy, and finance complements his coaching philosophy and approach to player development.\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Support Staff Member & Equipment Manager - Josh Pethel\n<\/span>Jpethel@u.rochester.edu<\/span><\/h3>

Originating from Hudson, OH, Josh joins the hockey program as a support staff member and equipment manager. Having previously worked in such roles at Denison University, Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Currently pursuing a double major, Josh is studying both Finance and Economics. In his spare time, Josh is usually on the golf course as an NCAA athlete for the university's golf team. Josh also regularly volunteers with the Frist Tee of Western New York.\n
