The easy way
Go to a library and print. Library printers print on both sides by default, so all you have to do is pay $1.60, fold in the middle, and staple the pages together.
Printing yourself
Your printer probably does not support printing on both sides of the page, so you'll need to first print one side, and then the other. As your first step, take a pencil, and lightly draw an arrow on the top sheet of paper in your printer pointing in the direction the paper will go in. Next, open the PDF file with Adobe Reader and select File > Print. It should look something like this on any kind of computer:
For the "Subset" dropdown, select "Odd pages only". Also, set "Page Scaling" to "None". Click "OK" to print. Now's the tricky part. Some printers print pages and drop them on the tray in the the correct order face-down, and others drop them face-up. Take out the print-outs (without changing the sheets' order!) and look for the paper that has the arrow you drew. Now place the stack back into the printer so that the arrow is on the bottom of whichever sheet it is on, and points away from the printer. Open the print dialog. This time, select "Even pages only". If the page with the arrow ended up all the way at the bottom, then check the "Reverse Pages" checkbox. Click "OK " to print. Now, if you did everything correctly, you should be able to fold them in half and staple them together, and you're done! |
