Game 2
Rochester A 210 - Maryland A 185
Summary
In the first tournament of the year, Rochester's A team, consisting of Fred Bush, Micha Elsner, and Michael Adelman,
walked away with the title, hopefully the first of many victories this year. The B team, consisting of Anna Lessenger,
Dan Blake, Ben Ratner, and Ben Lin, all new players, played well in their first tournament, but was not able to pull out
any wins against some very tough competition. Everybody had a good time though, and will almost certainly improve as the
year rolls along. Special congratulations go to Fred Bush for finishing in the top four among individual scorers. Full
results of this tournament, including individual statistics can be found

Summary
With a third place finish from the A team in this year's MLK tournament, Rochester firmly
established its place among the best teams in the nation. Fred Bush, Zak Talarek, Micha Elsner,
and Sid Parameswaran all played extremely well. The B team, consisting of Michael Adelman,
Kaeti Stoss, Melinda Morrison, Gordon Arsenoff, and Dan Blake, also played well, although they
did not have as much success as the A team did, winning just 3 games on the day. Everyone
had a good time in Ann Arbor anyway though. Individually, Micha, Fred, and Gordon all finished
the tournament in the top 20 in scoring, which is fantastic. More detailed statistics
can be found on the University of Michigan's website.

Summary
Rochester's Men From Nantucket (Mike Adelman, Gordon Arsenoff, Dan Blake, Fred Bush) put up a strong showing, but finished last in a quadrangle of death at 5 and 4, knocking them from playoff contention down to the 11th place game. They were led by a surprising Arsenoff, who went on a bit of a "power trip" as he collected a solid seven +15's on the day. Rochester B (Micha Elsner, Melinda Morrison, Sid Parameswaran, Kaeti Stoss), didn't fare as well, winning only once to finish 23rd. It was a spectacular day for individual players, though, as both Bush and Arsenoff led their divisions in scoring; Elsner was close at 9th in Division I.
