



12noon Convocation on Dandelion Square
A traditional inauguration ceremony, Convocation kicks off Yellowjacket Weekend and provides students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to celebrate together the beginning of the academic year. The ceremony features the presentation of the Goergen Awards for contributions to undergraduate education in the College. Students, faculty, and staff of the College are invited to attend a free picnic on Wilson Quad following the ceremony. In case of rain, Convocation ceremonies will be held in Strong and the picnic will be served in Douglass.3pm-4:30pm Activities Fair on Dandelion Square

Come out to the Wilson Quad for food, fun, and music from 5pm – 9pm! There will be carnival rides and games, live music by reggae band Mama Jama, free popcorn and sno-cones, $1 ice cream and fried dough. Have dinner at the Luau in Hirst Lounge in Wilson Commons. *Danforth will be closed*

Check out Rochester’s oldest and largest arts and crafts festival, the Clothesline Festival from 10am – 5pm at the Memorial Art Gallery. They’ll be food, live music, beverages, and of course, arts and crafts!
