April 2008
Please congratulate April Rose one of our building managers as she is the April Student Employee of the Month for Wilson Commons Student Activities! She was nominated for being approachable, solving problems quickly, and for being informative and open while helping to train our new building managers.
Honerable Mention:
- Mike Fortier from the Common Market for being exceptionally efficient and helpful to customers.
- Kira Carlin from Event Support for volunteering to take long jobs that no one else wants, being a fast learner, and helping out other crew members to acquire skills.
- Scott Forrester-Sims from the Common Market for being dedicated to his job by taking extra shifts, always stocking the Market, and greeting customers with a smile.
Student Employee of the Month
March 2008
Please congratulate Noelle Miller from The Hive as she is the March Student Employee of the Month for Wilson Commons Student Activities! She was nominated for helping to make The Hive a welcoming place and showing extra initiative during her shifts. She is always cleaning the tables and also has made signs to serve as reminders for other Hive staff.

- Karel Schurman from the Common Market for taking a shift at very short notice and for volunteering to take a permanent shift that could not be filled.
- Ryan Weller from Event Support for being willing to work all day on a Sunday for a group’s dress rehearsal on very short notice.
Student Employee of the Month
February 2008
Please help me in congratulating Jessi Reeser from Event Support as she is the February Student Employee of the Month for Wilson Commons Student Activities! She received several nominations that indicated that she is always willing to take jobs, help out when needed, and has a great personality while doing it. She also comes into work at 7:30am to do early morning jobs and enter in reservation forms. As a freshman member of the event support crew, she has successfully worked backstage for a large Strong Auditorium show. She showed great leadership both during the show and during the strike.

- Sely Gonzalez from the Common Connection for being extremely helpful and courteous and for doing a great job cleaning and restocking the entire Common Connection area
- Fahria Omar from the Common Market for remembering what a customer likes every time and for going out of her way to obtain ingredients to make new fudge
- Katherine May from Event Support for always being responsive about Event Support questions when called, for taking many jobs, and for showing great leadership and professionalism as a supervisor
