Meet with Mary Ann Mavrinac, the Vice Provost and Dean of River Campus Libraries, as she embarks on the Rush Rhees Revitalization Project, the goal of which is to create a more modern, innovating learning environment for Rochester students. Food and refreshments will be provided. Dean Mavrinac, who assumed her position on June 1, 2012, is a recognized leader in creating exciting learning environments and digital experiences.
“It is essential that we transition to a primarily digital future through the creation of a digital library strategy to meet the needs of 21st-century students and faculty.”
The Students’ Association has worked closely with Dean Mavrinac and River Campus libraries to improve the lives of Rochester students, bolstering study spaces with additional furniture, power outlets, and Mac computers. Now, it is your opportunity to shape the future of a space that has defined the University of Rochester academic experience for decades.
The forum begins at 5pm on Thursday, December 12th in the Gandhi Reading Room. We hope to see you there!
