Information Technology is an ever present part of daily life for students. From the IT Center, to Wireless Internet– Blackboard, Projectors, and Email– technology is clearly a critical component of academics at the UR. Members of SA Government sit on several University technology committees, such as the College Teaching Learning Technology Roundtable (CTLTR) and Information Technology Governance Council (ITGC), and meet regularly with IT Leaders to discuss issues, concerns, and improvements.

The SA Strategic Plan for Technology at the UR is intended to be an outline of suggestions for future improvement of academic technology resources available to students. Where can I get my computer fixed on campus?
Visit the IT Center, or call (585) 275-2000 for help with computer repairs and troubleshooting.
MyRochester or another University IT service isn’t working, what should I do?
You can contact the IT Help Desk at (585) 275-2000 or UnivITHelp@rochester.edu to report an outage. If you don’t get a response, you can also contact the SA Projects & Services Committee for followup.
