Projects & Services works closely with University Facilities & Services to ensure that the condition of campus properties reflects the academic and co-curricular quality inside the walls. As part of this role, there are full time committee members dedicated to working solely on campus facilities. This team represents the student view on potential new and revamp projects, and proposes new tasks for the University to address. The Projects & Services co-chairs also work with the heads of Facilities to oversee large projects and reinforce any concerns not otherwise being addressed. This partnership has worked well for a long time, and would not be possible without the department's dedication to pleasing us— the students.

Some of the many improvements stimulated by the 2008 Walk for Facilities
Committee Initiatives
The SA Walk for Facilities, started in Winter 2008, drives the vision of Facilities improvements stimulated by the Projects & Services committee. After completing an in depth analysis of the River Campus, where administrators and students were paired up to evaluate each building and area, the 8 page Walk for Facilities Report (PDF) was often discussed and largely addressed in Spring-Summer 2009. Once the first report is completely responded to, a new Walk will be planned.
