The Elections Committee is responsible for ensuring a fair election for all students.
The Committee presides over the election of the President and Vice President, four freshman class Senators, three Senators for each upper class, and five at-large Senators. SA elections coincide annually with Class Council elections; freshman are elected in the fall, and all other positions are elected in the spring.
It is the job of the Elections Chair to assure that all candidates are fully informed about the positions for which they are running and the campaign rules. The committee sets the point sanctions for all election policy infringements.
