Projects & Services and University IT are looking for your feedback and opinions on the use of information technology on campus. Please take few minutes to provide your views on the 2012 Student Technology Survey. This information is used to guide future programs and services that support your experience at the University.

The first 100 respondents will receive a free gift and everyone that provides feedback can be entered in a drawing for one of three free iPod Touch devices to be raffled off at the end of the survey period. The survey runs from February 1 – February 15.

After working with Dining Services, we are pleased to announce that
Connections will now be open on Sundays from 2 – 10 p.m.

The new hours will start on Jan. 22, the first Sunday after classes begin. This could not have been done without collaboration between Dining Services and Projects & Services Committee.

We are pleased to announce the official launch of our new SA Safe Ride Home Service, which will be available beginning tonight at 1:00a.m. in time for your use during finals week. The service will operate during the entire academic year, safely and reliably transporting students to distant campus residences. For details visit our Security page. This services promises to be very valuable to students living on campus and would not be possible without the close collaboration of UR Security.

Following feedback received at this Monday night’s Senate Open Forum, three additional stops will be added to the Gold Line (daytime) route, effective immediately

  1. Corner of Weldon and Genesee Street
  2. Corner of Congress and Genesee Street
  3. Hutchison Hall (Drop-off on return route)

These stops are planned to stay in effect beginning tomorrow through the Spring semester.  For safety and timeliness, all University shuttle drivers are instructed to only stop at designated stops.  If you have any further feedback please contact us.
