REMINDER: ACJC will be holding interviews this Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24. All you have to do is sign up for an interview! ACJC is the Student Government’s judicial body, responsible for addressing alleged violations of the student code of conduct. If it sounds like something for you, you can still sign up for interviews until Friday, March 23rd at 12:00 pm at Wilson Commons 510. The All-Campus Judicial Council presents Know Your Rights, an interactive info-session to debunk myths, review new policy, and explain the judicial process. The event will take place on Tuesday from 8 – 9 p.m. in Havens Lounge.

This will be an open forum where students are free to ask questions to security officers, area coordinators and RA’s, as well as the members of ACJC. There will be food served.

On Monday, February 1, 2010, the All-Campus Judicial Council released its decision of the SA case Chizoba Umesi v. Students’ Association Senate.  The Council heard Umesi’s appeal of his removal from the SA Senate in an open hearing (anyone was welcome to attend) on January 29, 2010.  Ultimately, ACJC upheld the impeachment of Umesi by the SA Senate for reasons outlined and explained in their decision (PDF).
