Favorite thing about Rochester: The social atmosphere.

Hey guys, my name is Trey Socash. I come from Old Forge, NY, a very small town in the Adirondacks. It is a vacation town that jumps from 2,000 year round residents, to 32,000 people during summer and winter vacation periods. It is most famous for the Enchanted Forest Water Safari and the Northeast's greatest snowmobile trails. Coming from a small town, I was able to play four sports a year in high school, including basketball, soccer, baseball, and cross country running. This is the reason for my deep passion for sports. They are the center of my world, pending on whether or not there is a lady in my life. I love playing them, watching them, and talking about them. Sports that is. I was very attracted to U of R. I was excited about the numerous amount of opportunities. The social atmosphere seemed excellent. I am also proud to be apart of a very well respected university when it comes to academics. The high crime rate of the city also makes everyday that much more exciting. Getting involved with Fill Fauver/Pack the Palestra was a no brainer for me and my noble parter/friend Jesse Cramer. He enjoys sports as much as i do, and we both want UR athletics to become as big as possible. So we both hope that you all come out and cheer along our teams to more victories. Go UR!
