Hi, I’m Kristian Brooks. I grew up on a farm in Corunna, Michigan and moved to Chicago when I was sixteen. On campus, I am an inaugural member of the new competitive dance group, Louvre. At the U of R I am also involved with Delta Gamma sorority. My favorite part about the University of Rochester is that, as students, we have every opportunity to get involved in anything we are interested in. There are over 230 student groups on campus that range from community service and pre-professional groups to inter-collegiate competition and cultural organizations. Serving on the Senate's Policy and Review Committee for two years, I have had the opportunity to help student groups flourish, as well as help interested students form new organizations that will contribute to the campus community. Another thing about UR that I love is that I get to meet new people with interesting stories to tell every single day. Hopefully I’ll get to hear yours next!
