About Giulia Perucchio
Office: Associate Justice
Class Year: 2013
Major: English Creative Writing
Hometown: Rochester, NY/ Arezzo, Italy
Involved in on campus: hopefully Todd Theater, Logos and currently UR Ballroom.
Favorite thing about Rochester: obviously the english department.
I came to the University of Rochester wanting above all to study English and World literature, and to specialize in Creative Writing. I chose this university because the two departments of Religion and Classics, and International Relations, struck me as particularly strong areas of critical thought within the university itself. The ACJC branch of the Senate suddenly became known to me due to the members already involved and their ability to present themselves as interesting individuals. What I liked most about their way of thinking was the concept that since every individual is capable of making mistakes, so should every individual be tried fairly. I felt that it was important to uphold this concept and so I decided to participate in the application process. Since this is my first year, I hope that this experience will be a way to aid both the university and the student body.
