You can now apply for the Collaboration Coordinator position online. The position is described below:
The University of Rochester campus is rich in students of different backgrounds, interests, and ideologies. The purpose of having a residential campus is to increase interaction among students within our living and learning environment. It is through discussion, collaboration, and argumentation that we learn and grow together. We recognize that while we have this medley of ideas, there are times when some do not feel as included in the campus community. It is our priority to bring students together to address these concerns, which will allow us to understand each other better and grow as a community.
The SA recognizes the value of collaboration of students and student groups, and has created a position that will be responsible for bringing groups together in an effort to foster a more collaborative and inclusive campus environment. The Collaboration Coordinator will be responsible for organizing meetings of the collaborating students, guiding them in planning programs, and sparking challenging conversations.
We seek highly motivated and energetic people to fill these positions for the year. If you have any questions, feel free to contact SA President-elect Roshal Patel.
Applications are due by the end of the day on Saturday, April 28.
