Projects & Services and University IT are looking for your feedback and opinions on the use of information technology on campus. Please take few minutes to provide your views on the 2012 Student Technology Survey. This information is used to guide future programs and services that support your experience at the University.
The first 100 respondents will receive a free gift and everyone that provides feedback can be entered in a drawing for one of three free iPod Touch devices to be raffled off at the end of the survey period. The survey runs from February 1 – February 15.

Log on time on the public computer terminals is generally very slow and makes me considerably less likely to use them.
If at all possible, I suggest looking into coursekit as a more user friendly way for classes to connect (as opposed to blackboard). It has many more social features, prompting more interclass discussions and connections outside of the classroom.
Erin and Ryan, thank you for your feedback! We appreciate hearing from you and hope to clear up some issues. Make sure you take the Student Technology Survey and include this feedback! IT is really good about responding to students’ concerns.
Erin – Log on time for computers is something we’re working on. The kiosk computers have been replaced with solid state hard drives which significantly reduce the log in time (in most cases less than 30 seconds). IT is aware of this issue and has been working on it.
Ryan – Improving Blackboard has been a project of ours for some time now. We understand the issues with the site and have been working with IT to improve Blackboard’s functionality. We will most likely be having a focus group on it this semester – we would love to have you there! Until then, keep sending us your feedback and we will forward it to IT!
