One great way to get involved in the Students’ Association Government is to apply to be an executive aide on one of the Senate Committees.  As an aide, you have very similar responsibilities to the Senators on the committees, including full voting rights where applicable.  The application is due on September 17th, 2009, via email to sapres@mail.rochester.edu or hard copy to 101G in the Ruth Merrill Center.   If you have any questions about the application or about what it means to be an aide, please feel free to email SA President Eric Weissmann at sapres@mail.rochester.edu.  If you are interested in applying, download the application!

  1. Being an aide is without question the best way to get involved your first year in student government. Aides have the flexibility to put in anywhere from about 1 to 40 hours per week, and have the same rights as elected senators on the committee that they serve on. I highly recommend that you give it a go!
