With spring course registration this week many may find themselves unsure of what classes to take this upcoming semester. Not sure which section of MTH 142 to sign up for? Torn between taking Love, Friendship and Community or Capoeira? Many may consult their friends or websites such as Ratemyprofessor.com during their decision making. However, the school provides an invaluable resource allowing all students to access previous year’s course evaluations online. By consulting course evaluations students can avoid bias and access the average class ratings from a much larger representative sample.
To access previous year’s results one should sign into Student UR Access Plus! which is accessible through the registrar http://www.rochester.edu/registrar. From there just sign in using your student id number and password, and click on “Online Student Course Evaluations (Fall 2007- Current)” on the left hand side bar. From there you can find out just which professors were rated most effective or which gave out the most work. Happy Registering!
