More about Who We Are
The University of Rochester Protestant Chapel Community is an open and inviting group of Protestant Christian students and faculty who worship weekly and participate regularly together in programs of service, education, and fellowship. Jointly led by an ordained minister and a student steering committee, participants in the PCC seek to learn and grow as individuals and as part of a Christian community, and to apply Christian faith in life on campus and in the wider community.

"Our identity as a community arises from both our common Christian experience and our diversity of faith traditions. We come together to celebrate Christ's presence and to accept his challenge to go forth into the world as a healing force."
- PCC Steering Committee

We strive to be open to all God's people and to honor the various traditions from which we come. We hope you will make Chapel a habit, and find here a welcoming place to help live your faith here at the University of Rochester.

Our Chaplain
We are fortunate to have Rev. Dr. Laurie Tiberi as our Chaplain. Laurie was ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is now a United Church of Christ minister. She brings a vibrant ministry to the Protestant Chapel Community.

    The Steering Committee
We welcome all students interested in helping shape PCC to join us 4:00-4:30PM on Sundays before worship service. We brainstorm and organize special events. You'll never serve on a committee that holds quicker meetings. Plus, as a part of the official steering committee induction ceremony, you get to put your hands on a real Porsche steering wheel (no longer attached to a Porche, unfortunately, but it's something).
