UR Interfaith Chapel

U of R's Protestant Chapel Community! We are an open and inviting group of Protestant Christian students and faculty who worship weekly. We offer opportunities for fellowship, discussion, and volunteer service in our community. We are jointly led by an ordained minister, Rev. Dr. Laurie Tiberi, and a student steering committee.

Weekly Worship is held 5:00-6:00PM on Sundays in a contemporary mainline Protestant style. There's no need to wake yourself up early after a late Saturday night! Open communion is offered every other week.

Dinner Dialogues on Wednesday nights 6:00-7:30 are casual, themed discussions over a free home cooked dinner. Past topics include "Weird Bible passages" and "What role should faith play in politics?"

Blessed Sacrament Soup Kitchen welcomes us about once a month when we volunteer our time to help the Rochester community. We leave from in front of the chapel on Thursdays at 5:30PM and guarantee we'll be back on the campus in time for any 8:00 plans you might have. Community Dinners are popular monthly dinners that bring us together after the worship service for a particularly good home cooked meal.
