Sam is a junior at University of Rochester with a major in Physics and minors in Chemistry and Mathematics. She began her dance career at the age of five in Boston Ballet's Intensive Division. There, Sam developed her technique with daily ballet and pointe classes taught by renowned teachers such as Laura Young, Celia Marino, and Christopher Anderson. Over her dancing career, Sam enjoyed performing various roles in the annual Nutcracker and Midsummer Night's Dream as well as Boston Ballet's Spring Showing. Over the summers, she participated in summer dance intensive at DanceLab and Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre where she was chosen to perform a pas de deux. Although Sam stopped attending Boston Ballet in high school, she could never stop dancing and is very excited to continue her dance career with Louvre.
