Fun Fact: I can turn my feet out past 180 degrees and walk.

It all started with a pair of permanently turned out feet. Over a decade of dancing later, Emily is thrilled to be a member of Louvre Performance Ensemble for the third year. Emily studied jazz, tap, ballet and lyrical at Lori's Center Stage Dance Studio and performed at various local venues including area nursing homes and the Danbury Fair Mall. As a company dancer, she competed throughout the Northeast for seven years and danced at Disney World Nationals. Emily has fond memories of participating in the Danbury Music Centre's performance of The Nutcracker for three years and was a dancer in the Moscow Ballet's traveling production of The Nutcracker for one year. As a junior in high school, she was chosen to perform a solo at the New England Key Club District Convention talent show. On campus, Emily is also a member and choreographer for Ballet Performance Group, the President of Habitat for Humanity, a freshmen RA and an Admissions Associate in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. She will be receiving a bachelors of science in chemistry with a minor in psychology this May. Emily is incredibly thankful for all of the love and support her family has given her since she began dancing. She is grateful for all of her Rochester friends whose constant excitement and encouragement is unsurpassed. In her last year at the University of Rochester, Emily is so thankful to have the opportunity to live out her immense passion for dance.
