Scholarship

As members of Kappa Delta National Sorority and students at the University of Rochester, our sisters are extremely devoted to succeeding academically and pofessionally. Many of our sisters are leaders of professional societies, involved in honors societies, on the Dean's List, and are teaching assistants, research assistants and more.

On a local and national level, being in Kappa Delta encourages, motivates, and rewards women for their outstanding collegial achievements. For instance, every year thousands of dollars worth of scholarships are awarded to sisters who demonstrate high academic standing and career success. Another great resource offered is not only the integral support system of the sisterhood but also study supplies, test-taking tutorials, career seminars, and member education.

The Kappa Delta Foundation is pleased to announce that approximately $110,000 will be awarded in scholarships, fellowships and grants to Kappa Delta Sisters across the nation in the academic year of 2006-2007. These scholarships have been made possible through gifts, funds and bequests to the Kappa Delta Foundation. Any Kappa Delta may apply even if she has received a scholarship in previous years. The recipients will be announced at the June 2007 National Convention in Palm Springs, California.
