Golden Key invites only the top 15 percent (approximately a 3.70 GPA) of juniors and seniors to be members. An invitation to the Society formally distinguishes its recipient as a part of this elite group.
Golden Key maintains its selective requirements and emphasizes diversity by recognizing students from all fields of study, regardless of part-time or full-time status.
Members pay a one-time membership fee of $70 to support the Society's mission of investing in students and academic excellence.
Golden Key allocates a portion of the membership fee to scholarships, and a percentage of the fee is also directly returned to the local chapter to support its community service programs and events.
No other fees are requires to maintain lifetime membership and benefits.
