About FIF

The Film Interest Floor (FIF)'s purpose is to create a community of people who have fun applying their skills to various aspects of film. FIF bridges the gap between rigorous academic study of film and watching movies without analysis. Most importantly, FIF provides a means for anyone with any level of interest in any aspect of film to collaborate and talk about the medium. It is located on the first floor of the Kendick building in Hill Court (Phase), and is complete with its own theater that is used for screenings. FIF also will be producing several films of their own throughout the year, and welcomes any and all participation with these endeavors.
