UR Biodiesel Presentations and Reports

Over the life of the UR Biodiesel project, we have created many reports and given many presentations. Below is a sampling of the documents and presenations that we have developed. They are a great way to learn about the history of the project and to see how it has changed and evolved over time. Further, the more recent presentations give a great summary of the project as it is today. Enjoy!

Download the Academic Proposal made to Professor Ben Ebenhack in the Summer of 2008. This plan is a rough guideline of what is currently being followed to link UR Biodiesel with academic departments.

Download the UR Biodiesel Proposal to University Administration. The proposal was presented in December of 2007 and January of 2008 to a nubmer of administrators, and steps towards final approval were taken shortly thereafter.

Download the original UR Biodiesel Business Plan for the Charles and Janet Forbes Entrepreneurial Competition.  The plan won second place, and was presented in May of 2007.  Download the Powerpoint presentation that was made in conjuntion with the Business Plan.  (It is important to note that much of the information has changed since this presentation was originally made.  For example, at the time the presentation was made, the University paid a monthly fee for the removal of waste vegetable oil from campus.  Now, in a telling sign of changes in the world of sustainability, the University receives a small monthly fee as payment for that vegetable oil.)
