Nick Troché Talked about the Solar Splash, a solar boat making competition, simaler to mini baja http://www.solarsplash.com/index.php He’s looking for people to help, the competition is next year in Arkansas. Email him if you’re interested: ntroche@u.rochester.edu
We’re hoping to contribute to Engineering Week Feburary 16th to 22, we’re gonna have a Dodgeball Team and also will host a tour of the Biodiesel facility.
Upcoming trips include this Friday to a recycling facility; also being planned is a tour to a solar demonstration site, the Laser Lab, and Cogen. Anyone interested in helping plan these tours should contact Gerald Abt: gabt@mail.rochester.edu

5) Elections: We would like to hold elections for all the positions in the next few weeks, think about holding an office, all of the old e-board will be around to help you learn what to do if you’re uncertain
6) Is Tuesdays at 8 a bad time for some people? Please email me back with possible better times.
7) Grassroots would like us to table at the opening for UR Unplugged, This will be on Wednesday, January 28th from 12-3. Email me back if you’d like to help.

Minutes for Tuesday December 2, 2008:
1) Trip to Harbec Plastics this Friday, meet at ITS at 2:30. Harbec is a sustainable oriented plastic manufacturing firm, they have their own wind turbine, run their automobiles on biodiesel, purchase green power, use energy efficient equipment, and lots of other cool stuff, check them out at http://www.harbec.com/
2) ESW NATIONAL CONFERENCE POSSIBLY HOSTED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER. So we're not going to a conference in Chicago in January, but we will be in communication with administrators at our school and the national ESW to make this is a distinct possibility, it would be taking place in Fall of 09. Stay tuned for updates
