If you couldn't stop by the bookstore during the Grad Fair last Friday, make sure to pick up your cap and gown before Commencement!

Senior Class Happy Hour

  • Buses running continuously from 5-7pm (parking available)
  • New Alumni Center, 300 East River Rd.
  • Come celebrate your last day of classes by enjoying FREE hor d’oeuvres, taking advantage of the cash bar, and touring the new Alumni Center!

 

Saturday, May 12

Six Flags Darien Lake

  • Buses leave at 11am and return by 7:30pm. Buses will leave Darien Lake at 6pm, but the park will remain open until 8pm (for those driving separately).
  • Darien Lake tickets cost $15. Round-trip bus tickets can be purchased separately for $5.

Senior Night @ The Keg/German House

  • Buses running continuously from 10:30pm-2am.

 

Sunday, May 13

Shout! at the Downstairs Cabaret Theatre

  • Buses leave at 6pm, the show starts at 7pm, and buses will return by 9pm.
  • Tickets cost $10. Alcohol and desserts will be available for purchase.

Senior Night @ Venu

  • Buses running continuously from 10:30pm-2am.

 

Monday, May 14

Canoeing

  • Canoe trips at 1pm and 3pm.
  • Genesee Valley Park – just walk on over!
  • Tickets cost $5. Walk over to the GVP Dock (behind the GVP Ice Rink) and then paddle around.

Redwings Game

  • Game at 7pm. Buses running continuously, with the first bus leaving at 6pm.
  • Tickets cost $5. Watch the Redwings take-on Buffalo. After the game, buses stop at Senior Night and ITS.

Senior Night @ Snuffy Magees

  • Buses running continuously from 10:30pm-2am.

 

Tuesday, May 15

Finger Lakes Wine Tour

  • Buses leave at 10am and return to campus by 6pm.
  • Tickets cost $25 and include lunch and tastings at 3 Seneca Lake Wineries. Don’t forget your UR ID and driver’s license!

EVENT: Bowling Night @ AMF Olympic Lanes

  • Buses running continuously from 9pm-12am.
  • Costs $0.99 per game + $3 shoe rental with UR ID (no ticket required, pay at the door).

 

Wednesday, May 16

President’s Picnic, hosted by President and Dr. Seligman

  • Noon-2pm
  • Dandelion Square (rain location, Douglas)
  • Ticket required (included in the Senior Mailing)

A-Street Night with stops at The Old Toad, Two 89, Coyote Joe’s, and Soho/Daisy Dukes

  • Buses running continuously from 9pm-2am.
  • Bars with drink specials TBA. Join your fellow Seniors at your favorite A-Street bars!

 

Thursday, May 17

Golf Tournament

  • Tee time at 8:30am
  • Riverton Golf Club
  • Tickets cost $15, which includes 9 holes of golf, lunch, and prizes. Club rental is available for $10 at the course. Directions to the course and team sign-ups are at the Common Market. Transportation not provided! Single players and novices welcome.

Senior Ball

  • Buses running continuously from 9pm-2am.
  • Clarion Riverside Hotel
  • Tickets cost $30 and include: OPEN BAR, hor d’oeuvres, DJ, and live jazz band. Don’t forget 2 forms of ID! Ticket prices will go up to $40 after Monday, May 14th! No Tickets sold at the door!

 

Friday, May 18

Commencement Briefing and Senior Class Slide Show

  • 12-noon
  • Strong Auditorium
  • Find out all the details you need to know about participating and walking in Graduation AND see our class slide show.

Last Senior Night @ Tilt (followed by a Special Surprise! )

  • Buses running continuously from 10:30pm-2am.

 

Saturday, May 19

Lilac Festival

  • Buses running continuously from Noon-4pm
  • Avoid the bad traffic and parking troubles by catching the bus. A great family activity!

Senior Awards Ceremony

  • 3:30pm
  • Hoyt Auditorium
  • Are you or any of your friends getting an award? Come celebrate the accomplishments of your class.

Senior Farewell Concert

  • 8-10pm
  • Strong Auditorium
  • Come with your family and friends to see one last performance from your favorite campus groups including: OBOC, Vocal Point, ADITI, In Between the Lines, and many more!
